Waxahachie High School Alumni 1962 is really a story of a special group of kids growing up and attending school in the town of Waxahchie, Texas. And we were special. We were the original "Love Children", resulting from the celebration of the end of a devastating
world war and the beginning of one of the most prosperous times in American history. We had the luxury of living in a small rural town, in the greatest state in the union, in the greatest nation in the world, at its greatest time .
For those of you who attended Waxahachie High School, we hope that the site will bring back some old memories... hopefully more good ones than bad. Maybe it will even serve to

The public schooling of the Class of '62 spans a twelve year period from 1950 - 1962. For some, it began in 1949 with kindergarten. Although, at that time kindergarten was not a requirement, but it was available and a lucky few were able to attend. Several of us spent all 13 years together and for some, an additional four years as they attended college together. These are the years that molded us and have influencd our lives ever since.
