If You Can Read This.......... Hug a Teacher!
"There is no such thing as a 'self-made' man. We are made up of thousands of others. Everyone who has ever done a kind deed for us, or spoken one word of encouragement to us, has entered into the make-up of our character and of our thoughts."
George Matthew Adams
Mr.Adams pretty much summed it all up in just a handfull of words. We are not exceptions. During the years of schooling and growing up in Waxahachie, there were several groups that had an immeasurable impact on us. To these people, we owe an eternal gratitude. This site is dedicated to each and every one of them.
With a little help from our friends.....
" It is better to build children than repair adults."
How the remainder of our lives is shaped, and how the world is changed because of us, will be a strong reflection upon those who have guided and influenced us in our preparation. Perhaps a few of us will become great. Most of us will not, at least in the usual interpretation of the word; but each of us will be a better citizen because of the example, instruction, and guidance which have been given him during these important years in his growth.
Countless people have influenced us to make us what we are today. Of these, however, two groups must be recognized as having made outstanding contributions.
Our teachers have given unselfishly of their time, their knowledge, themselves, to the cause of our development. To them, we now give credit long overdue and appreciation which cannot be fully realized or expressed.
It is our parents on who we reflect most strongly. Time will be the judge of their accomplishments in imprinting within us the foundations for successful living. To them, we express our hope and our promise to be reflections of which they can be proud.
"No one can make you feel inferior without your consent."
Eleanor Roosevelt (1884-1962)
